Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at this 'Inn,' more like a pub with rooms. The room was great, lovely sized, prettily furnished, light, and airy, with a spacious and clean en-suite bathroom featuring a good shower. The service was exceptional, with staff who were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and very happy to please us. The location was excellent, right in the center of the village with free car parking and welcoming staff. The dining experience was exceptional, especially the massive and awesome breakfast. However, the price for non-breakfast options was a bit high. My favorite features were the friendly staff and the great location.
I was a bit disappointed with the room arrangement as it wasn't what I expected based on the advertisement, and it lacked the charm I was hoping for in an old building. However, the service from the landlord and staff was impeccable, making sure I had a clean room and addressing any needs efficiently. The location was very central, right in the heart of Lavenham, although the room itself had some issues with plumbing noises. The dining experience was average, with limited options for vegetarians at a slightly high price. Despite its drawbacks, the hotel had a great location and helpful staff.
The hotel is situated in a beautiful village, right in the heart of Lavenham. The rooms are cozy and clean, featuring period furniture, and the en-suite bathrooms are spacious with good showers. However, the hotel feels a bit tired, more like an 'Inn' than a fully modernized place. The location is fantastic, offering a great experience in the historic town, but dining could use some improvement.
The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Lavenham, right in the market place, oozing old-world charm. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and quiet, but being close to the staff accommodation can lead to early morning disruptions. Service is top-notch, with staff like Daisy and Lindsey going out of their way to ensure a memorable stay, although some young staff members may lack a bit of experience. The dining options are decent, though the seating area could be cleaner. The hotel is full of character, and despite the lack of onsite parking, it's a definite recommendation for those who appreciate historic settings.
